Vasundhara was born in New Delhi, India and spent most of her life moving around before finally setting for the

brilliant food scene of Chennai. The sweltering heat came as an add on. Moving between states and schools in her

childhood gave her an overactive imagination, which she channeled into stories and art from a young age.

She started acting at the age of 17, and has been a part of several award-winning films, playing a variety of roles—the

female lead, the villain, the sweet love interest who dies too soon, etc.

Her debut novel, _The Accused_, was published in 2025 by Westland Books. A crime thriller set in Mumbai and

Chennai, it explores the current state of the world where social media is everything and no one really knows or cares

what the truth is unless it makes for a great story.

Apart from crime thrillers, Vasundhara writes poetry; and other than acting and writing, she enjoys painting and

design.
