Shikha Tripathi
Shikha Tripathi, a Himalayan soul, wears many hats. She is a qualified mountaineer, photographer and a travel writer. Her articles cover a diverse range of subjects including sustainable travel, active travel, adventure, climate change, culture, nature and social stories. She has been published by Conde Nast Traveller, National Geographic Traveller and leading newspapers such as The Hindu and The New Indian Express. Shikha has authored several Lonely Planet guidebooks. A personally satisfying project for her was authoring an award-winning children's book on the stirring story of Northeast India’s first female Everester, Tine Mena, for a literacy NGO. She has documented the impact of climate change on our mountain heritage through a Commonwealth Writer's fellowship, and a long-term photo essay for The Third Pole. Shikha founded her outdoor venture, Snowfox Escapes, through which she curates and leads programs in the outdoors.
