John Zubrzycki is the acclaimed author of several books on India including

Dethroned: The Downfall of India’s Princely States, Jadoowallahs, Jugglers and

Jinns: A Magical History of India, and The Last Nizam: The Rise and Fall of India’s

Greatest Princely State. John has worked in India as a diplomat and foreign

correspondent and has a PhD in Indian history. His is currently researching a book

on the history of India’s nomadic communities.
