Harvijay Singh Bahia
Harvijay Singh Bahia is a constantly evolving, multi-faceted personality who defies the laws of ageing. He is an exceptional sportsman, a golfer, photographer, social worker, traveller, reader, environmentalist, author, and wildlife enthusiast. He wears all these hats with remarkable panache and grace.
His passion for wildlife photography leads him, time and again, into the depths of raw wilderness, into the habitats of man-eaters and pathless woods, to capture, through his lens, the ferocious and awe-inspiring beasts of the jungle.
He has already created two stunning coffee table books, The Rockstars of Bera and The Lords of Gir, which bring the magic of the jungle into our drawing rooms.
His third coffee table book on tigers is currently in progress. It will showcase all four tiger variants found in India, the Royal Bengal tiger, the white tiger, the golden tiger, and the most elusive of all, the black tiger. He has physically captured all four through his camera, a herculean task of Himalayan proportions and is probably the only photographer to have achieved this extraordinary feat.
