Gurcharan Das is a renowned Indian author and thinker. His iconic books, India Unbound and The Difficulty of Being Good, offer insights into India's economic rise and moral dilemmas. A Harvard University graduate in philosophy, Gurcharan Das was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in 2013. He has held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble India and Worldwide. Gurcharan’s other notable works include India Grows at Night, Kama: The Riddle of Desire, and A Fine Family. His memoir, Another Sort of Freedom, is an inspiring piece of work. Gurcharan’s latest book, The Dilemma of the Indian Liberal, presents a thought-provoking analysis of India's liberal identity. Gurcharan Das has also edited a 15-volume economic and business history of India for Penguin. His columns on philosophy and current issues are widely read.
