Dr. Kavita Pandey holds a Ph.D. in Relativistic Astrophysics and has over forty years of experience teaching Physics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has served as Dean of Student Welfare and Dean of the Faculty of Science at Kumaon University.

In addition to her distinguished academic career, her short stories, published in leading literary magazines, focus on women’s experiences and her observations of society at large. Collections of her short stories, along with her autobiography, are currently in press
