Her journey took her to the U.S., where she studied business and design thinking where, along with her friends, she co-founded a company that designed specialised pillows for women recovering from breast cancer surgery. Now back in Jim Corbett, she is deeply involved in her family’s dream project, Aahana Resort, where she deftly balances sustainability efforts with leading PR and marketing—proof that luxury and responsibility needn’t be strangers. Her love for books began early, thanks to a mother who believed boredom was best cured with literature. This habit soon became a lifelong affair with philosophy, music, and the written word. Whether through a camera lens or the pages of a well-worn journal, she finds a way to capture the fleeting and the timeless. A passionate wildlife photographer and nature lover, Avni is now focused on redefining sustainable luxury travel—where indulgence meets the untamed beauty of the wild.
