Richa S. Mukherjee is a Ted X speaker, an award-winning writer, ex-journalist and ex-advertising professional. She is the author of five novels, I Didn’t Expect to be Expecting, Kanpur Khoofiya Pvt. Ltd, Excess Baggage and The Curse of Kuldhara, three of which are headed for screen adaptations. Her fifth book, a cozy, comedic thriller, Vigil Aunties was released in 2024. She is a blogger and travel writer and contributes to several platforms including Womensweb and SheThePeopleTv. Her work and words have featured in publications such as The Times of India, Mid Day, The Asian Age, New India Express, The Bombay Times and Hindustan Times. Rolling Stones Magazine India featured her as part of a Women In Creativity initiative in 2023 and she was nominated as a Jury member for the South Asian chapter of the Laadli Media and Advertising awards for Gender sensitivity. A Sheroes Champ and a Blogchatter and Kool Kanya mentor, she has authored e-singles, anthologies and audio books.
